Registration
A newspaper advertisement announcing the availability of seats may, at the discretion of the Principal, be released three to four months before the academic year is scheduled to commence. Prospective parents are welcome to visit the school on any working day and may register their child for admission into a particular class in a particular year at any time after the birth of the child.
           A non-refundable registration fee to be determined and reviewed periodically by the Board of Governors, will be charged from the candidate applying for registration on the prescribed registration form. The mere act of registration will not constitute a guarantee of admission, Which is subject to testing, interview and the rules contained here in . All candidates will be required to register, following the registration procedure outlined above and only registered candidates will be eligible for admission.

Admission in Class IX
Those seeking admission directly to class IX should be aware that in contrast to most other schools, we offer subject choices at this stage. Entrance test papers are therefore subject specific at this level. Please refer to the paragraph on Academics.

Admission in Class XI
A child may be admitted provisionally in April in either of the two streams i.e. Science & Commerce with or without Maths. The admission and subjects are confirmed only after the board results are declared at the end of may. The School will admit those candidates whose class X results are declared before 31st July of the academic year. Candidates seeking admission to class XI of the ISC (X!!) course, who have passed their class X Examination from the National Institute of Open Schooling, New Delhi, must fulfill the following criteria:-
a) Pass in five written subjects of external examination.
b) These five subjects must include English, a second language and three other written subjects accepted by the council.
c) Passed the examination in one and the same sitting.

Procedure
Candidates who are offered admission must avail of the offer within the specified time by paying the necessary admission dues, as defined in the current year's Fee structure and returning duly signed the Indemnity Agreement (on Judicial Stamp Paper), the Uniform measurement Chart and the Student's Medical history form, T.C. and Report Card of previous school and 5 Passport size Photograph failing which the admission will lapse. In such case, the school will be entitled to offer the place to another candidate in order merit/position waiting list.
                           On full payment of the admission dues and submission of the relevant documents, candidates will be sent an Admission Document, allotted an admission number placed on the school rolls Once admitted, candidates will be subject to all the rules and regulation of the school admission, once paid will not under any circumstances be refundable.

Security
Security Deposit amount is refundable and will be refunded one year after the withdrawal of the child only on written request from the parent/guardian. The refund of the security deposit is subject to the clearance of all dues. Security Deposit will not be adjusted against the pending dues. Security Deposit must not be claimed until one year of the withdrawal. At the time of claiming the refund of security deposit the parent/guardian must produce the original receipt of Deposit of Caution Money.

Transport
The school plies buses from all corners of Dehradun city. They are in excellent condition, equipped with outstanding features and mobile phones.

Fees & Fines
Fine at the rate of ten percent will be charged monthly in case the fee dues are in arrears for more than a month. The child will not attend class and no Transfer Certificate will be issued unless all dues are cleared along with the fine. Broken periods are not allowed under any circumstances. Fee will be charged for the whole duration, irrespective of the child's attendance. No reduction of fees will be made on account of any holiday/forced closure or temporary absence for any cause whatsoever.
                                A student joining the session or the hostel late despite being  admitted will have to pay all charges of the term. There will be no reduction of fees on grounds of absence of the student. No child will not be allowed to join the new term until all the fee dues for the preceding term are cleared. The school will give the parents two bills in case of boarding and four bills in case of Day Scholars in the beginning of the  session, in order to keep the parents informed of the students account status.

School Uniform
Uniforms are available in the school at actual cost. On being granted admission to the school, new students are sent a clothing list, detailing the articles to be brought to the school by each child and listing those that the school will supply. Parents must ensure that no more and no less than the articles required are sent with the child. The school has the right to confiscate any article not mentioned in the list. We encourage a sense of equality and parents are advised not to send any expensive personal item(s) to school with their children since the school will not, under any circumstances, take responsibility for the loss of any such items.

School Terms
There are two school terms each year from April to September and from October to March. A child joining or leaving in the middle of a term has to pay the full term's fees.

Late Fee
Fee is to be paid in full by 12th February for the summer term and 12th August for the winter term of each year. There will be a penal charge of 100 Rs per week of fee received late. Undue delay in payment of the fee could lead to the child's name being struck off the rolls, at the discretion of the Principal.

Withdrawals
Parents withdrawing their child in the middle of a term will not be entitled to any refund of fee. Parents who decide to discontinue the education of a child from the next term must give prior notice in writing to reach the Principal not less than 60 days before the start of the next term. Failing this, the security deposit will be forfeited.

NRI'S
The school believes that our coming generations need not to be only aware of our heritage but proud of if it as well, and the school has a curriculum that stresses strongly on Indian ethics and values, our traditional and our cultural and spiritual wisdom.

The school invites admission to the children of Non-Resident Indians ensuring they live and learn in an atmosphere rich in the culture and values of the land. These formative school years inculcate the ethics and codes handed down to us from centuries.

Dispute : Any disputes and/or claims of any nature whatsoever, will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Dehradun courts only. This prospectus is not in any way a document of the school rules/regulation etc. It only serves to outline the school's aims and objectives, functioning and general information. The School reserves the right to change/delete or revise any information given in theis document at any time without giving any prior notice.
