Good Conduct
Good conduct marks (1 to 5) are
to be awarded by staff members at their discretion for outstanding Good
Conduct, e. g.
• Sense of responsibility (i.e.) timely correction of other child's
misdemeanor, looking after school property etc.
• Consideration, thoughtfulness, co-operation, courtesy.
• Correct uniform over a long period.
• Tidiness
• Civic Sense (i.e. helping to keep school areas, including dorms and
class rooms, tidy, being conscious about saving water and electricity
etc.)
• Any other manifestation of good conduct, as the staff thinks fit.

The Aryan Star Trophy for all round excellence
Will be awarded to a child whom
the Principal feels has displayed excellence in all three areas of achievement, i.e. Academics, Games and Co-Curricular
activates.
BAD CONDUCT
• Stealing
• Any illegal tuck or cash in the child's possession brought without the
Principal's permission will be confiscated at once.
• Deliberate and persistent absence from classes, prep., Games and
activities
• Deliberate destruction of School Property
• Lying
• Deliberate disobedience
• Rudeness
• Missing a class for no valid reason
• Unpunctuality
• Bad Language
• Incorrect uniform
• Not responding immediately to bells
• Any other display of bad conduct, at the discretion of the staff member
General
Rules
• Criteria for promotion to the next class,
under normal circumstances, a child must not fail in any subject, the
pass percentage is 50 % there will 4 monthly assessments and two exams
in the year. A student must pass on the average with 50 % or above in
each subject.
• A child must score 60% and above in each subject to earn a promotion
from class IX to X and XI to XII.
Rules For Visitors and Outings
1. Visitors list must be filled in duplicate by the parents, with great
care and thought. Changes if any must be intimated in writing to the
principal.
2. No staff member, whether matron or teaching staff is permitted to be
the local guardian of a student, except in the case of close
relationship or old and genuine friendship.
Visiting Rules
a) Only people whose names are on the visitors list will be permitted to
meet and take the child out. Any visitors not on the list must bring a
letter of authority from the parents.
b) Strictly no visitors are allowed inside the dorms.
c) However, if a parent has come from out of town on any other day
he/she any take permission from the Principal and meet the child for 15
minutes from 4:45 5:00 P.M. only. No child is permitted to miss
activities/games during the week to sit with the parents.
d) Visitors are requested to leave their cars outside the gate. After
entering the school premises, they must first meet the staff-on-duty or the Principal.
No visitor is allowed to meet any child without staff permission
Application/Letter of Permission for Outings and Meeting by EMail, Fax or Telephone
a) Must be received at least 24 hours in advance.
b) Must be hand wirtten and legibly signed (if in writing).
Any parent/guardians whose application has not been received in advance, will have to take the principal's permission before the child is allowed
out.
Day Outing
a) A boarder can have Sunday outing according to the outing list given in January then in July.
b) No child is permitted to go out on the first and last Sunday of the term and if possible close to tests and exams.
c) Day outings are from 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. if a child is late coming back from an outing the Principal has the authority to deprive him/her of one or more of his/her remaining outings. Night outing are not allowed
d) All boys/ girls going out must be in correct school uniform and must return as such.
Late Return
Please note that if any child is late coming back from Sunday/Holiday/Outing/Vacations, the Principal has the authority to deprive him/her of one or more of his/her remaining outings.
If the reason for the delay is a medical one, parent must bring the child back personally with all supporting medical certificates. Unless a clearance is received from our school doctor, the child will not be allowed to rejoin school.
Weddings
Strictly no permission is given during term time for a child to attend a relative's wedding, other than that of real sister or brother. In case of real sister or brother's wedding a student is allowed to leave for three working days only, but not during examinations, It is suggested therefore that parents try and fix wedding dates the school vacation.
